Teri Thibodeau is an Alberta-based retouching artist and photographer. She holds a Bachelor of Design in photography from the Alberta University of the Arts and has been working in the school and graduation photography industry since 2020. Each year she photographs thousands of students across Calgary and the surrounding areas, capturing everything from formal portraits to candid moments during events.
Beyond the camera, Teri also specializes in high-end photo retouching, focusing on delivering polished, natural-looking results that enhances without over-processing. Her expertise spans a wide range of photographic styles allowing her to adapt her approach to suit the unique demands of each genre and project. Her retouching skills include but are not limited to:

Hair and clothing cleanup
Glass glare removal
Colour correction and tone balancing
Sky and background replacement
Environmental enhancements
Complex masking and layering
Creative manipulations
Teri’s passion for photography extends across a wide range of genres. In her personal work, she finds inspiration outdoors. While the Rocky Mountains will always be her home, Teri’s love of travel continues to carry her to breathtaking and inspiring locations across Canada and abroad, camera always in hand.
This broad range of experience not only keeps her creatively engaged but also strengthens her technical and artistic skills, making her a versatile and well-rounded photographer and retoucher. Her ability to adapt her approach to different subjects, environments, and styles allows her to meet the needs of a diverse range of clients while maintaining a consistent level of quality and creative integrity in all of her work.
